I can adjust the profile to reflect that later. The trouble is for successful courtship in polypterus you generally need something in the order of a 300 gallon plus tank and that is beyond most hobbyists. Polypterus are both common in wild caught and captive bred forms, but "home " breedings are unusual. Breeding polypterus isnt that difficult in a large commercial setting, and I have seen a few specimens touted to be "high greens" and "emeralds" , but to be honest, aside from the albino form, these are well within the limits of natural variability for this species. Ill make sure the albino captive bred form gets a mention in the variants section when I do the corrections. Thanks for pointing it out nat, I should have mentioned it. |
