longhairedgit Fish Guru Lord of the Beasts Posts: 2502 Kudos: 1778 Votes: 29 Registered: 21-Aug-2005 | Watched 3 specimens actively hunting half grown flame tetras at midwater level in the LFS recently and had to report it , saw 4 fish taken. Witnessed my own specimen only 3 inches long take out a full grown black neon under a blue moonlight bulb last month. Nasty surprise! My specimen has actually grappled with my polypterus to get a share of a feeder fish only recently since a tankmove. Peaceful, but a long way from harmless. |
