got screwed up last time. Found that it actually will tolerate more acidic waters, but wont grow as successfully. more alkaline waters wont be tolerated as well.

Nah,

As I stated in the initial "New Profile Created Thread", the ph was a sticky point. I believe the listed range to be way to narrow, in particular the low scale entry seems to be way to high.

Albeit I usually don't like to link out to make my point, here are a few references:

- This one is from The Washington State Department of Ecology, in particular the phrase "Habitat: Favors ponds, lakes, and quiet streams with low pH" is of interest here.
- And This One Here is from a site that deals more with plants and usually serves as a great reference for plant profiles. Note the low end of the ph level at 4.8.

Doing a quick bit of research, I see that the vneral range for pH seems to be more like 4-7. Not sure where you got the figures above, but just browsing through a few sites gives a wider range of pH than you have indicated.
