Google the species on image search and look through dozens of books, snd there they are with blue hues.Hundreds of examples. Your tank isnt the world. Blue is a normal range of colour variability for the species, especially around breeding time.Some will have blue, a few wont, but you have to include all possible colour varients normal for the standard species, or people will say "its got blue, therefore it cant be the same fish" . Obviously , that would be a mistake. |

Also, I've seen a lot of fish labeled as honey gouramis that are red and almost seem to be flame dwarf gouramis (Colisa lalia) and not Colisa chuna. Maybe thats what you got by mistake? |
