Hey Guys,

I have just bought my first big tank 48"x14"x18". I plan to set it up very much like the Amazon swamp or river.

My question is, l was thinking of getting a 3D rock background to make the tank look more realistic. Has anyone used these before and had any problems with them? I found a shop that sells them http://www.universalrocks.com.au/aquarium.htm The one l was looking at getting was called "The Ledge". Do you think this background would suit what I’m trying to achieve?

Also l plan to get the fluval 402 external filter. Will this filter be ok to use and do l setup the tubing between the background and glass or in front of the background?

Thanks for your comments and help

Yes l will make a log book with pic's and post it up.

I'm expecting it will take me a good 2-3months before its ready to have and fish in it. Going to take my time, do my research, and try to do it right the first time
