i have scratches on my tank how do i remove them

I really don't think there is anything you can really do to remove the scratches. There are some material available that can fill them to make them a bit less noticeable, but are really only intended for the exterior of the surface.

Acrylic tanks are easy to scratch; unfortunately the scratches are pretty much impossible to remove. That's one of the downsides of these tanks when compared with the glass models.

Actually, acrylic tanks are easy to remove scratches from...you just need a scratch removal kit which is just very very very fine grades of sandpaper that you use in steps. It does take some time, but other than that it is pretty easy. You can even do it with water and your fish still in the tank. When you do it with your livestock still in the tank, you just keep going through the different grits of sandpaper and finish it up with the highest numbered paper that comes in the kit. By doing this, even though there are scratches in the tank from the sandpaper, they are not visible because they are such a fine scratch.
