Does ANYONE know where/how I could get some stronger lighting that would fit this tank?

The tank currently has only 8 watts (1.6wpg)... I want to be able to grow most plants...

Only eight watts per gallon? That's 40 watts.... seems like enough, if not too much, light to me.

They shade the glow of it with their mossy-misty costumes,
They wear masks of silk, porcelain, brass, and silver,
So as not to mislead with their own, ordinary faces.

With something that small, I think the real question is can you find a sunlight spectrum bulb that will fit?

I know they make compact flourescents that are 10 or 20 watts, but I'm not sure even they would fit.

I'd say go to your LFS, look at the floor models of this kind of thing, and make sure they sell a good bulb that will fit. If you can fit the 20 watt, your good to go.

Oh crappers!!!

I meant 8 watts total... sorry for screwing that one up...

I just wanted to know if there were any stronger lights that would fit the frame (which is oddly shaped)
or would fit into my current light fixture.
