He is not planning on keeping fish, so he doesn't need biological filtration. He just wants two stage mechanical filtration -coarse and fine. He is using a large tupperware container (about 40 gal or so) and would like pictures or drawings of schematics on how to build it. Anyone help me out? |

This floss would come cheap at fabric stores, as its used for filling blankets. It comes in various tickness sizes, and for $2 you would get a good bunch of it. For the pump, your cousing should check aquariums with ponds experience, or pool equipment stores or simply a store that sells pumps. Check how much water and how frequently he wants to move it and pick the right type, always considering electric consumption... |
