I bought a used Emperor 400 for 20 bucks.
Well there is a lot of weird looking things on it. The previous owner says it was "lime stains"??

I don't know what he is talking about. How would I go about cleaning it? I used a brush and some vinegar and its helping a tad bit, but there is still a lot. Thank you

i think u should just leave it alone. if u want to remove lime stains, u may need to use some of those cleaning liquids for the bathroom or something. those might take a little LONG time to get out of the filter and if u dont get it all out, the liquid will mostlikely be poisonous.

but its early in the morning (for me) and i might not know what im talking about.

Vinegar and a stiff bristled brush is the way to go. Just keep hacking at it, he had hard water, but the vinegar will dissolve the mineral stains.
