Co2 Dossage....?? | |
The_man_from_zanussi Small Fry Posts: 10 Kudos: 13 Votes: 0 Registered: 13-Jan-2005 | Hi. I have had my co2 setup now for 7 days, running at 1 to 2 bubbles p/sec. The PH is 6.8 The KH is 3 Which I think make the c02 level approx 14mg ? I guess this is not enough and it should be around 20mg? Does anyone know approx how many bubbles /psec I should run at or is it just a experimental process. I have my co2 running 24/7 as I do not want a big swing in ph? Thanks |

With a KH of 3, the pH range you want to stay between is 6.6 and 6.8. This would be 24 and 14 ppm of CO2 respectively. Both are near enough the target CO2 range where you will notice the benefits.
