SuperMummy! Mega Fish Posts: 1207 Kudos: 915 Votes: 30 Registered: 03-Jan-2003 | I think DIY co2 still works for a larger sized tank, but it becomes a bit of a pain in the derrier as you need a few 2l bottles of co2 mix running rather than just one. So still feasible but more hassle. |

Sure, but I'm happy with it's function as is. I drilled a small hole in the filter intake tube and have the CO2 line feeding into it. The only problem so far is after about 5 days I have to keep an eye on my PH or else suffer drastic PH swings when it depletes. |
