How fast should your bell defuser be filling up? Mine is doing it in a little over an hour...

Sorry about the lack of info thing. It was way too early this morning! I am running a 2L bottle of mi1 pack yeast, 3/4 cups sugar, water to the curve of the bottle). From the 2L it goes into a 20oz bottle that has cuts in it up to the curve for water to pass through. The hose has an air stone on the end and is at the bottom of the bottle. I don't have a digital cammera but I might be able to steal one tomorrow night! Or i can draw some pictures......

1 pack yeast with 3/4 cup sugar is the wrong ratio. You've got too much yeast and not enough sugar for the mix to work.

I use 2 cups sugar 1/4 tsp yeast, warm water to the top of the curve, shake and attach. Usually takes a few hours to begin producing.

I just re-did my mix last night to what you normaly do. Things seem to be working out alright...
