1)What is the white slimy sludge that develops on the airstone that my co2 feeds through?? Is It harmfull??

2)Can O2 be fed through the same line as co2, or a line near it, or will this likely reduce the amount of co2 that is absorbed by the water??

1) that happens to diy co2 lines (at least it happened to mine). if it clogs the airstone, you can usually just wipe it off or rinse it and it will be fine to use again. don't know what causes it, maybe some kind of precipitate reaction?

2) why would you want to do that? there is no need to inject o2 as well as co2.

if you do decide to do that, its ok, amount of co2 and o2 are independent of each other. you can have high co2 AND high o2, just because one is high does NOT mean the other is low.
