 | DI vs Membrane |

So I hear the membrane is like the MAIN part of the system, but what does it do really? Is it the part that affects the GH and KH or does it remove chemicals? Or is it the DI that effects the GH and KH? The place where I got mine from doesn't really explain that, so iam kinda curious. Also what would my water be like with out going through the membrane (but with DI), or vice versa? (just curious) thanks ashley |
