Eco-Aqualizer debunked Some of the claims in that article don't exactly make much sense, but there are a lot of good points in it, especially about the unit being unpowered. One of my favorite points from the Eco-Aqualizer website is how it completely eliminates ammonia via oxidation. But, when you oxidize ammonia, you get nitrite and nitrate. So, in effect, if your tank is properly cycled you don't need this. It seems that it would be better to burn your money instead of buying this thing. At least then you'd have a pretty fire to look at for a few seconds. Remember the old saying about things that seem too good to be true? |
