	Fluval FX5
OldTimer Mega Fish USAF Retired Posts: 1181 Kudos: 1294 Votes: 809 Registered: 08-Feb-2005	Does anyone have any experience with the Fluval FX5 canister filter. I have the opportunity of purchasing one for $140.00 which I believe from my research is a pretty good price. I was curious as to the effectiveness of this filter and also the overall reliability. The only problem I have had was when the outflow tube got brittle and broke when I did maintanence. Was an easy fix thanks to one of my LFS. Hope this helps.

I have no experience with the Fluval's as the only canister I have is an Eheim and not sure yet if I'll buy this filter or not. The only reason I went with the xP3 was eas of maintenance. I was considering the FLUVAL. Sorry about that. Did you get a filter yet?
