I have the opportunity of purchasing one for $140.00 which I believe from my research is a pretty good price. I was curious as to the effectiveness of this filter and also the overall reliability. Any input would be welcome. Jim |

I have no experience with the Fluval's as the only canister I have is an Eheim and not sure yet if I'll buy this filter or not. It's that the price is right and I need a larger filter for my 150 gallon tank. Jim |

The only reason I went with the xP3 was eas of maintenance. I was considering the FLUVAL. Sorry about that. Did you get a filter yet? |
