The Jager heaters all seem to work great, and are pretty reliable. I recommend getting one of those heaters, they are German-made.

I agree with Ebo-jager they are in all my tanks but one. The other tank has a titanium heater in it. Titanium is usually more expensive but pretty much shatter proof. Id recommend them for turtle tanks and large cichlid tanks.
