I'm running it in conjunction with the UGF to seed it with bacteria before I shutdown the UGF. We're moving house next weekend so the tank will have a major tear-down and rebuild. My question is...How often do those of you using a cannister clean it out? I was thinking maybe once a month with weekly water changes. Love to know what you all think! Cheers, James.  |

Do you rinse those (in siphoned tank water)? I was thinking of putting some gravel in one of the baskets too. |
