International Standard Tank Sizes | |
sirbooks Moderator Sociopath Posts: 3875 Kudos: 5164 Votes: 932 Registered: 26-Jul-2004 | I'm just curious to see if the most common tanks sold in other countries are the same sizes as the ones here in the U.S. Following is a list of some of our standard tanks, and a metric measurement of each tank (courtesy of our site's calculator). 5.5 gallon- 20.8 liters 10 gallon- 37.9 liters 20 gallon (long and tall versions)- 75.7 liters 29 gallon- 109.8 liters 40 gallon breeder- 151.4 liters 55 gallon- 208.2 liters 75 gallon- 283.9 liters 90 gallon- 340.7 liters 125 gallon- 473.1 liters If they aren't all the same, what are the standard measurements in your country? I've been wondering this for a while, and I'm sure I'm not the only one. |
