They are certainly of high quality but are expensive.
The media provided with their trickle filters (which work rather well) are not the best and can do with replacement and they can be tricky to put together.
Proberbly the best looking tanks though and with a excellent built in filter.

Well, from what taksan describes...it sounds like Odyssea, but they aren't THAT expensive. But who knows, maybe we're still talking about 2 different companies.

Where did you see these tanks?

a very elegant looking and easy to maintain system for freshwater as well as Fish only with live rock marine system

but yea...it will be slightly more expensive than setting up a standard tank with the same size, If u like curved glass, I definitely recommend it. If u hate curved glass, don't bother.

Another draw back to these systems is that some models use a weird length for it fluro lights, like 23.5 inch. Standard 24 inch will not fit. So check whether u can get these light tubes befoew buying.

Thanks for starting this thread. There is a local lfs that carries quiet a few of them, and I really like the looks of them, but have hesitated in purchasing one because I didn't know anything about them or how well the built in filtering system works. There was a 60 gallon that really caught my eye for about $500.
