Lighting on ebay - good deal? | |
just beginning Moderator Literature Nerd Posts: 1879 Kudos: 1380 Votes: 198 Registered: 17-Dec-2000 | I'm currently on the lookout for a good compact fluorescent lighting system and came across this item on eBay. It's a triple T5 light, which is ideal, but about a quarter of the price of many others I've seen. However I'm not certain if it's a good deal or not. A couple of things seem strange, such as the bulbs being noted as 21 watt. All other 48" T5 bulbs I've seen have been 55 watt. How could these ones be so much less? Has anyone heard of this brand? Do you think this would be okay or does it seem dubious? The only way to get rid of a temptation is to yield to it. - Oscar Wilde |

The wattage could be indicative of low output bulbs. If you're looking to grow plants they may not be enough. Can you ask the seller what their output is? |

I'll question the seller about it, thanks! The only way to get rid of a temptation is to yield to it. - Oscar Wilde |
