PurEstDJ not PurIstDJ, I ain't no purist
Anyway, I don't think I have to refill it ever, just recharge the unit every 500 litres (approx 100 UK gals). To re-charge you simply reverse flush the system with salty water.
I've checked the stats of the water post purification and it seems to be identical as before treatment with the exception of having no nitrates.

Sorry, my fault.

Do you have a link to your product? I don't believe I've ever heard of it, and I like to keep on top of things . Sounds pretty interesting.

Is the site of the company and I bought it from my LFS which has a website http://www.maidenheadaquatics.co.uk/, but I can't see the specific filter on either website.
As I say it was only £34 and is pretty simple device, but I have no idea what happens in that magic cylinder, I'll get some picks so you can see it...
