I basically bought a double 4ft flourescent fitting and was planning on simply mounting this on my hood. This however was too big for the hood so I decided to buy 2 lots of spare end caps made by arcadia and rewired the whole thing. Now this probably cost as much as buying a double light controller designed for fish tanks but meh I didn't know it wasn't going to fit lol. http://www.geocities.com/bonny_aka_fatboy/light.htm There's some pics for you to take a look at, the top one is the tank with jus the 1 light on, the middle one is the tank with all 3 lights on and the bottom one is the lighting unit when it was rewired. ![]() PS: You can't really see too much of a difference in the photos but believe me you can see a massive one in real life ![]() [span class="edited"][Edited by bonny 2004-08-31 17:15][/span] |
