I bought some PVC pieces for one of my tanks. Just by soaking in hot water I was able to remove the price labels. The problem is that there is still adhesive from the labels remaining. Is there something I can use to remove this so that the pieces are still safe for the fish once in the tank?

Thanks

OxyClean in the laundry aisle says right on the back of the container safe for aquarium use. Use to clean, and then rinse well.

How about just using PVC primer? Are you gluing the PVC together? If so, you should use a primer anyways
