I already have one AC150 on the 30 gallon, which I don't think will be adequate filtration...I can buy another AC150 for 19.99, which would be cheaper than buying an AC200 at $49.99...Would this work? Or make too much of a current?

As far as I can remember the AC150 is rated for 30G tanks and that would be 5X per hour your water is turned over. This might be plenty for what you have(assuming the angelfish) because they don't like a whole lot of current. If you really feel this is inadequate, you could try the AC mini which might add another 2-3X turnover.

It definitly depends on the types of fish that will be in the tank. Like mattyboombatty said, angelfish and some others won't be able to handle that much current. But, you could always use some kind of decoration placed in front of the flow of water to break up the strong current. A lot of people now days try to filter 10x or more, including myself. So I would definitly add the second AC150.

I will tell you that two smaller filters is better than one strong filter. I can't begin to tell you how many people come into our store looking for replacement impellers for their filters only to discover that few stores have the correct ones in stock.

Go for it; I had two aquaclear mini's running my ten gallon tank once upon a time. Unless the flow is to fast for the fish (ie bettas don't like fast moving water) you can't have too much filtration IMHO!

I'm so adjective, I verb nouns!
