My light has stop working and I dnt know why, it is attached to the hood, could it just be a blown fuse ??

Is a florescent light? If so the tube may be gone, or if not then the ballast may need to be replaced.

No its not flourescent, I did leave it on for a long time yesterday. Maybe its jus the fuse.

Okay... this is a really stupid question, but did the bulb just die? Could be you just have to replace the bulb.

How long have you had it, and what type of bulb are you talking about (fluourescent, etc)?

Another stupid comment, but when I first put a bulb in my ten gallon's strip light... well, the stupid fluourescent didn't snap in all the way (old fixture, tight fit for bulb) and it wouldn't always work. You might want to check the fit of the bulb. *shrugs*

Can you describe exactly what happened? I think we need a bit more info before we can really answer your question.

They don't have fuses. If it's incandescent, look closely at the filament, i'm sure it's busted. Just replace the bulb.

Well today its, flicking, and the whole light isn't coming on properly. Better than yesterday, wasn't coming on at all. MAybe its jus not in properly.

are you *sure* its not flurescent? they come in a screw-in type now too, not just tubes...
