I would be way too stupid and I wouldn't trust my own construction to hold hundreds of pounds of water . ctt33 – You should also be able to find inexpensive wood stands if you don’t like the me Ingo Last edited by LITTLE_FISH at 09-Nov-2005 12:45 |

So I just used the me Compared to my wooden stands the me If there is going to be lots of movement around the tank, you might want to look into a wooden stand. |

I personally wouldn't get a similar stand for anything bigger than a 20long/29, but that's entirely up to you. While it does sway a bit, it seems otherwise sturdy. One thing to keep in mind though... it IS me However, it's not easy to find a wooden stand that will allow for two aquariums... so this was my best bet. In the future, I might make my own, or search more diligently for a different dual stand. ~Meow. Thus spoke the cat.~ |

I probably will not start it for a month or two. I am going to hunt for a good solid wood stand. maybe find a old Desk at a garage sale or something. |

monkeyboy Fish Addict Posts: 521 Kudos: 375 Votes: 223 Registered: 10-Apr-2005 | been there on this one... but the wrought iron stands are good, i have one with my 150g tank on top and a 40g on the bottom and its been up for 3 months now. yes the tank does move when you push on the tank or stand, but its pretty stable. Fish tanks are an expensive addiction |
