I wouldnt use one.

Although it helps for some diseases, if you use it thjough, you cant stop, or your fish will get sick.

They're good for delicate fish... Such as discus... But regular fish like zebra danios don't need them... The only way they could be "bad" is if you don't change the bulb every 6 months... UV Sterilization bulbs lose effectiveness at about 6 months. Failing to replace the bulb every 6 months (even if it's still "on" ) will cause your fish to become sick because they can not handle normal waterborne parasites and diseases.
