Upgrade My Lightning | |
carttman Small Fry Posts: 11 Kudos: 12 Registered: 16-Feb-2006 | I have no idea if I'm posting this in the right area but I will give it a try. I have a 29 gallon Eclipse tank and I would like to upgrade my lighting on it. Can someone tell me how to do this if they have ever done it to an eclipse tank set up. I would like to upgrade to around 60 W. |

First thing is that you're likely to need a new cover for the tank. If its the one that came with the tank (half black half glass) you're reducing the ammount of possible light you can have over the tank. Try looking in your LFS or online for an clear glass hood. After that, check around online for either a new fixture or parts for a DIY project.
