backing and glue | |
stuquarium Enthusiast Posts: 262 Kudos: 275 Votes: 0 Registered: 28-Oct-2004 | hey guys, i'm going to add a backing to an empty 4fter i have this weekend, and i was wondering what glue would be the safest to use for the backing ? and where can i get it in melbourne australia, also... how long should i let the newly glued backing sit for before filling the tank ? thanks |

In that case, you can just put a light coating of some vegetable oil on it, that way it will suck to the glass, and will brighten the appearence of the scene a bit, while staying in place. That way, you can just put a few pieces of tape on the rim and be set |

But, if you have one of those 3D rock backgrounds, then you will need to buy a tube of V2 Aquarium silicone and seal the background inside the tank. Cost around AU$10-13.
