Darth Vader Big Fish Posts: 338 Kudos: 334 Votes: 35 Registered: 05-May-2005 | the only prob. with reduced flow is the colling of coil block which in't crucial as long as the impeler doesn't stop moving completely it shoun't over heat. you see when electric current is flowing through the coil it must be "used up" now realisticly there is only two options for the electric energy and thse options are to either be converted to kinetic(movement) energy or heat.now impeler pumps can keep moving withouth any water flow unlike piston pumps(wich are more powerful thow) so the impeler pump normal won't "burn out" unless there is somthing jamming the blades which is diferent from reduced water flow. |
