It's set up as a grow out tank for guppy fry and has no plants. I was wondering if anyone has experience with this light or anything similar. Thanks ~~~~~~~~~~~~ There is water at the bottom of the ocean |

I am still hesitant because I worry that the socked might not be screwed tightly (without breaking the glass though) enough onto the tank and would fall in (I worry a lot, that’s just in my nature). If you have a glass top then the lamp would have to go in the back (given there is a plastic strip as it is the only place where you could screw it on. If the lamp should only be there while a top is on the tank then I would not worry about it falling in. It seems to be fine otherwise. Hope this helps, Ingo |

You do not need a lot of light unless you have plants- Did you want to add plants? http://www.fishprofiles.com/site/aquarank.aspx |
