my filter in my 60g is pulling the filter media up and slowing down the current.I want a current to add oxygen for my fish and every time i pull the media down it just gets sucked up again.how would i keep the media down?

try a plastic divider. in my eheim 2028,there's a plastic divider with holes, that way the last stage of filter doesn't get sucked up to the impeller.
