heater question? | |
MR_CICHLID Fish Addict Posts: 770 Kudos: 582 Votes: 124 Registered: 12-Aug-2003 | Noticed today that one of my heaters has a bit of condensation inside the heater. I removed it and replaced it with a new one but I was just wondering if this heaters trash or not? I can't see a crack or any gap that would allow water in??? What do you all think? Thanks, Dave Last edited by mr_cichlid at 28-Mar-2005 10:05 |

Because they are usually assembled in places with high humidity, it is impossible to have no moisture inside the device. As the air inside the heater gets warmer, the water in the air will condense on the inside of the heater. Nearly every heater that isn't brand new will have this, and it does not affect the performance of the heater. I'm not your neighbor, you Bakersfield trash. |
