making my own tank | |
oli566 Small Fry Posts: 3 Kudos: 5 Votes: 0 Registered: 08-Feb-2005 | hello i'm new to to fish profiles cool site if this subject has allready been talked about please could you send a link if possible- thanks basically i'm wanting to make a couple of tanks to grow my discus out in. 2 things i must have is 1.safety and 2. must be cheap i was going to construct using plywood with pond liner inside anyone know what kind of plywood i need i think there is some thing called marine board but is expensive and also none of these tanks will have glass fronts they will be looked at from above many thanks in advance |

I was too caught up in the making the tank issue to think of other options . I currently have a rubbermaid stock tank in my living room as an indoor pond (goldfish rescue ). The come in sizes from 50 gallons to 300 gallons. It might save making one.
