my custom betta tank | |
monkeyboy Fish Addict Posts: 521 Kudos: 375 Votes: 223 Registered: 10-Apr-2005 | Ok its done and completed and has occupants. So far 2 of my 3 bettas have taken home in this. I have split the back off from the front with many holes in it, so that the filter will move the water in a circle. and then divided off the tank into 5 sections for multiple bettas. and to do this, i did not buy tank dividers for the LFS, i went to Joann fabrics ($5 for 4 24x18 sheets) and then for the plastic to hold them, the dollar store for the holders (book report holders). then added my moon lights for look.. took me a few days to set it all up. but its nice more pics when i can get them soon. Pics: two of Buddy (CT Betta), and 2 of the tank. and one pic to explain how it works to the non believers. http://home.comcast.net/~spyder-monkey/buddy1.jpg http://home.comcast.net/~spyder-monkey/buddy2.jpg http://home.comcast.net/~spyder-monkey/tank1.jpg http://home.comcast.net/~spyder-monkey/tank2.jpg http://home.comcast.net/~spyder-monkey/details.jpg Last edited by monkeyboy at 26-May-2005 18:59 Best part was this one tank has replaced 2 tanks, 2 heaters, 2 of everything and now 3 more fish Last edited by monkeyboy at 26-May-2005 19:02 Fish tanks are an expensive addiction |

What about some occupants for the bottom....I'm thinking each section could have it's own school of some of the smaller corys or loaches, maybe one with shrimp. And ...pleeeeeeeeeeeeease! background or get those plants growing .... ^_^[hr width='40%'] The life, the love, You die to heal. The hope that starts, The broken hearts...
