For non load bearing applications such as a divider silicone is fine with plexi and plastic, however if planning a load bearing structure, such as a tank, when using plexi or plastic always use a solvent to bond the materials together. Plexi and plastic will only bond well when fused together and silicone just wont do that for you. Think of it like liquid welding. |
