support for a large tank | |
djtj Fish Master Posts: 1764 Kudos: 885 Votes: 49 Registered: 20-Feb-2003 | I'm looking into getting a large tank, 180 - 300 gallon. The problem is that I'm going to be living on the 6th floor of an apartment. I was wondering if I could use certain materials (acrylic tank, DIY stand) and such to make it lighter. But, I was wondering if there was some way to re-inforce the floor without actually taking it apart. Any ideas? |

Should something happen you would be held liable. Its on think to have multiple tanks around the apartment but 300 gallons in one spot on the sixth floor If you are determined see if you can find out the building spec on your apartment. I have the same problem, but thats made me more motivated to buy a house sooner. |
