	tank not level!
zcilahim Small Fry Posts: 6 Kudos: 2 Votes: 1 Registered: 28-Apr-2005	Make sure you get it leveled. I had my 55 gal tank running for about a week it wasn't out anywhere close to an inch. One day after school I went down to look at it and all of the sudden my socks were soaking and half my basement was covered in water. The worst part of it though was the tank was on to of my entertainment stand and the tv vcr etc. Were all soaked. Thankfully I dried them out and they all worked after.

I would be afraid that the tank would crack because there would be a portion unsupported. Even though the glass is thick there still is a lot of weight on the glass supporting the bottom I know I careful leveled my tank before I filled it but now that it's settled, so it's unleveled again. Just one of those annoying things that bugs a person to no end. If you want to fix the problem, you could try sliding something underneath the lower corners of the tank to prop them up a bit. I don't know if I would go through the effort of draining the tank just to be able to level out the stand. And when he gets to Heaven, to Saint Peter he will tell: "One more Marine reporting, Sir! I've served my time in Hell."
