Hi! I have a 10 gal. with 6 neons and 6 black tetras and they school very well, and I was wondering if I could add another community of tetra. Do you think that's a good idea? If so I was thinking glowlight or lemon tetras?

No, i wouldn't add anymore tetras, you have a full stocking.
If you want those then you will need a new tank.
that would mean atleast 6 more fish giving you 18 which is way to much.

Certainly you would be well over the limit for that small tank. If you want a good mix of tetras certainly go BIG a tetra tank can look fantastic if it is set up correctly.

Have a look in [link=My Profile] http://www.fishprofiles.com/forums/member.aspx?id=1935[/link] for my tank info

Yeah, your present tank is definitely at full capacity. If and when you get more room, Glowlights or Lemons would get along with them splendidly (there are very few mean, aggressive tetras, except for Serpaes and maybe Penguins and Cochu's Blues).

Also, a black tank backdrop really brings out the color in both Black Neons and Glowlights -- they can look spectacular in that setting.
