Quick note on Cardinal Tetras ... | |

Here's what I've just learned. My Cardinals seemed to be shy recently, which puzzled me because previously they've been quite bold. So, water change time came around ... and ... It transpires that my powerhead was set to hurricane force by accident. Now this didn't trouble the Panda Corys (in fact they loved surfing the bubbles!) but the Cardinals all bunched up in the part of the aquarium where the current was least strong. I've now turned the powerhead down to a more moderate setting, and my Cardinals have returned to the front of the aquarium. So, be advised, that while moderate currents are OK for these fishes, they don't like their currents too strong. You live and learn even at my age. |

Have a look in [link=My Profile] http://www.fishprofiles.com/forums/member.aspx?id=1935[/link] for my tank info Look here for my Betta 11Gal Desktop & Placidity 5ft Community Tank Photos Keith Near enough is not good enough, therefore good enough is not near enough, and only your best will do. After all they are from the amazon and as you probably know that is a slow moving river. The same thing happens when you go on vacation. Go to florida and you are sweeting like a dog but the locals would be freezing if they went back to your home. 20 Gallon Long: Aquaclear 300 2 Bolivian Rams, Mikrogeophagus altispinosus: Gumby and Pokey |
