Is it beacuse their less hardy? Is it beacuse their more active? Is it beacuse they like to school more? why? ![]() ![]() Last edited by dude_dude at 23-Jun-2005 22:18 |

Small tanks are often not heated. I'd still suggest a 10g for them as they are very active and love company. |

Also Cardinals are hardier than the Neons and naturally more expensive. Keith ![]() ![]() Near enough is not good enough, therefore good enough is not near enough, and only your best will do. I VOTE DO YOU if not WHY NOT? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

For a 5 gal you could do: killifish guppies (Id stick with no more than 3) endlers (Id stick with no more than 3) female bettas ADF Cherry Barbs Dwarf puffer I'll do graffiti, If you sing to me in French. |

They would be just fine. They would have the whole space to themselves, and would be quite fine. In my experience they really are not any more active than say a neon or glowlight, and really dont require a ton of space. They are also very hardy, and will do fine in water from ph 6-8.5, and from temps as low as freezing to as high as 85F.
