I have also noticed red marks on there fins.. not sure what that is. i have lost 6 of my fry already! :#( Last nite i bought a bottle of mutli cure so did a 25% water change and added that at half dose as recommended for fry. Can anyone help?? I dont know what else to do!! ![]() |

Every time you do a water change you weaken the origional medician. I would do several water changes and use one good ICH treatment and add some Melafix which should be compatable with most meds. Other than raising the temp, add plenty of airation, & turn the lights off. Also reduce the feeding to a minium every 2-3 days. Keep treating for several weeks after the ICH has dissapeared. Then do several water changes. If you can add carbon to the filter do so for a short time to remove all the medications Have a look in [link=My Profile]http:// www.fishprofiles.com/interactive/forums/profile.asp?userid=6741" style="COLOR: #00FF00[/link] for my tank info [link=Betta 11Gal Desktop & Placidity 5ft Community Tanks]http://photobucket.com/albums/b209/keithgh/Betta%20desktop%20tank/" style="COLOR: #00FF00[/link] Keith ![]() ![]() Near enough is not good enough, therefore good enough is not near enough, and only your best will do. Unfortunately i have to go away for a few days so i wont be able to keep an eye on it if i do a water change tomorrow and redose the mutlicure and add melafi ![]() ![]() |

I will stop feeding them while i am away.. i have my brother coming to feed the fish in my other tank but ill tell him to leave them alone.. should i still feed the fry? i have only a handful left now ![]() i removed the carbon from the filter but wont be able to replace it in time.. will doing a quick 25% water change be good enough? |

I would not add the carbon until you are completly 110% sure all the ICH problem has gone. Regular water changes also when problem has gone will certainly help, do several at 3-4 days appart.
