Aquarisol 4oz

Aquarisol is a safe and effective treatment and preventative for parasites and mild ick. Used once a week, your fish will enjoy an ick-free environment. Aquarisol is also highly effective in controlling ick outbreaks when new fish are added. In addition to this, it can be used as a net-dip to ensure clean and disease-free netting.

Instructions:
Use 12 drops for every 10 gallons regularly. Use once a week as a disease preventative and whenever new fish are added. For treatment of parasites, use above dosage daily and gradually raise the temperature to 85 degrees until symptoms are gone. As a net dip, use one teaspoon for every 10 gallons.

Sean,

I don't see where this product will treat a bacterial problem like fin rot. However, IF you have followed the directions it should be effective against ich.

Are you following the med directions? Did you read the link to information on ich? Do you understand that it will take two weeks to effectively kill the ich organism? Have you been changing your water to reduce the bacterial conditions that cause fin rot? Have you tried a good anti-bacterial med like erythromycin?

Hi there,
the ingredient in AquariSol is Copper Salts.
These are totally unsafe for treating scaleless fish.
For ich the best treatment is heat and for a medicine I would recomend something like Kent Marine Rx-P and for fungus I would recommend a salt dip or a fungal med like Jungle Fungus Eliminator.

Another good medicine for fungus that has worked for me is maracide. which is safe for the fish. The only thing is that it's more on the expensive side compared to other medicines.
