However, IF you have followed the directions it should be effective against ich. Are you following the med directions? Did you read the link to information on ich? Do you understand that it will take two weeks to effectively kill the ich organism? Have you been changing your water to reduce the bacterial conditions that cause fin rot? These are totally unsafe for treating scaleless fish. For ich the best treatment is heat and for a medicine I would recomend something like Kent Marine Rx-P and for fungus I would recommend a salt dip or a fungal med like Jungle Fungus Eliminator.
