Pammy![]() ![]() Hobbyist Posts: 148 Kudos: 130 Registered: 30-Mar-2004 ![]() ![]() | I found my betta girl this morning with a red pectoral fin. Her other one looks fine, but the other looks bloody. I'm not sure if it is infected with something, or maybe she injured herself. Is there a disease or could it be a common injury. Tank was cleaned out, so all parameters are 0 PH: 7.2 Thanks!! -Pamela Last edited by Pammy Hina at 31-Aug-2005 15:49 |

I still am treating her with maracyn-2 to kill any left-over bacteria that may still be in her system. and her right eye is still a tiny-bit cloudy. So, i hope that it may be a good enough anti-biotic for her, if this is a infection of some sort. And I threw a little Pima-fix in as well. As to what she could have injured herself on, I don't have a clue. All the plants in her tank are silk, and the one "sunken ship bell" ornament she has does have a "smaller than her" hole in it, but I plugged it up. ![]() In the picture below is what is currently in her tank. This poor little girl has had it all since I got her..Ich, Cloudy eye, Dropsy, and now injured fins...poor thing. ![]() It's not poor water conditions either, I gravel vac/water change every 3-4 days.
