kiwifish  Small Fry Posts: 3 Kudos: 1 Votes: 1 Registered: 13-Aug-2005   | I have a 60x18x20 tank that I kept cichlids in for over a year Recently I converted it to a community tank for smaller fish.Yesterday I purchased fish to go in it.Rasbora,Clown Loachs Sharks etc.This morning the sharks were dead(4)Everything else is fine.Thankyou for any help you can give me. |

What sort of sharks are they? What is the etc? How many of each fish? Before you criticize someone walk a mile in their shoes. That way you're a mile away and you have their shoes. |

zachf92  Big Fish Posts: 343 Kudos: 255 Votes: 233 Registered: 31-Dec-2005  | you said that you recently converted the tank. was the tank cycled? if you do not know what cycling is, it is the growth of beneficial bacteria that converts ammonia (toxic substance created by fish waste) into nitrite and then into not as toxic nitrate. |
