I have posted in The Hospital earlier about my Molies being pregnant. But I just found another and i realized, "Wait a second, this molly just gave brith and she looks pregnant again." I then noticed she had scales sticking out. She had DROPSY. Okay, So how can i cure it if possible ,I already have salt in the tank...

How is your Molies now? Hope is much better.

If not, how about trying:

I suspect is your water conditions are bad. Do regular water changes in small volume and by topping up the tank by going thru activated carbon and monitor the progress. Do keep us posted.

Cheers,

I agree with aroboy; check water conditions (pH, ammonia, nitrite and nitrate.... post results here) and start doing water changes in the hope that you can stop the dropsy progressing.

Good luck

If you can isolate the molly, as the cause of dropsy (depending on what it is) can be contagious. Have you had any finrot lately? popeye? any sickness?

For animals, the entire universe has been neatly divided into things to (a) mate with, (b) eat, (c) run away from, and (d) rocks. - Terry Pratchett

I can't isolate it but i have a Bio-Wheel 100(Eliminates Ntarate and Ammonia on contact and has activated carbon filter), My Ph will be checked later today. The Molly is still having the symptoms. I Added more salt but i will keep you posted.
