I've seen many fish live with one eye.. I've saved fish that survived popeye and can no longer see out of that eye... the key is to prevent infection, if the fish gets an infection in that eye it can cause sure death. check into some melafix to help with healing.

Many fish and animals survive with only one eye providing they are not put with any thing that will harm them.

Have a look in [link=My Profile] http://www.fishprofiles.com/forums/member.aspx?id=1935[/link] for my tank info
