CrimsonaX Hobbyist Posts: 130 Kudos: 57 Registered: 30-May-2007 | My Bettas fins have somewhat frayed, fluffy edges. Im not sure how, but I think it is fin rot. How all these disease have sprung on me I do not know... everything was fine recently anyway is it safe to treat him even though he's still undergoing ich treatments? I feel like im the worlds worst fish owner ;_; Morning Update: Some of the white fuzz is gone and Dante is also working on a bubble nest o.0 |

On the news this week some areas have been told to boil all drinking water because of some polutions. I know you are storing all your water now but are you treating it first dechlorinator or a similar product. I also add Sera Nitrivic (a bacteria additive) at every water change some of these nasties coming through are actually killing the good bacteria in your tank. What you must do is wash all your filter materials in the old tank water and never from the tap water. You could try Pimafix and Melafix as directed they can be used together and should not effect the WS cure you are using. Have a look in [link=My Profile] http://www.fishprofiles.com/forums/member.aspx?id=1935[/link] for my tank info Look here for my Betta 11Gal Desktop & Placidity 5ft Community Tank Photos Keith Near enough is not good enough, therefore good enough is not near enough, and only your best will do.
