My Golden Gourami has blood spots showing in his fins. His tail has a line that extents into his body. They are on all his fins though. I'll get some parameters up in a minute.
He has been netted twice recently. Once to put him in a new twenty gallon, and then to put him back in the 10 when the 20 leaked.

Amonia 0ppm
Nitrites 0ppm

My Ph is high, near 8. I always have trouble with my ph because my tap water is off the charts high, literally.

Are you adding a ph buffer/adjuster at ever waterchange? By that I mean adjusting the water before it is added to the tank.

What else is in the tank substrate, rocks, fish, and plants.

In the mean time I would be treating the Gourami with both Primafix and Melafix. Also increase the water movement using an extra air stone.

Have a look in [link=My Profile] http://www.fishprofiles.com/forums/member.aspx?id=1935[/link] for my tank info

I am pretty much a failure when it comes to ph. I know it is super important but I forget, which is odd because I take really good care of my fish otherwise.
I have aquarium gravel, one rock/ornament and a fake plant. I used to have another ornament in there but I took it out to seed another aquarium.
I really want to get him back into the twenty which had all kinds of great plants and ornaments for him to explore but I need to reseal it.
